Chewy, golden, and naturally sweet — these honey oat granola bars deliver a comforting bite of toasted oats and fruit, all built on a soft, buttery crust made with our fresh, stone-milled Organic All-Purpose Flour. It’s wholesome snacking, the way nature intended.
Ingredients
For the Crust
- 1 cup Farm2Flour All-Purpose or Einkorn flour
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- ⅓ cup honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Granola Layer
-
1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅓ cup honey
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- ¼ cup brown sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup dried fruit (optional – cranberries, cherries, raisins, etc.)
Directions:
-
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
-
Make the crust: In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in melted butter, honey, and vanilla until a soft dough forms. Press evenly into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Prepare the granola layer: While the crust bakes, mix oats, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt together honey, butter, brown sugar (if using), and vanilla. Pour over oat mixture and stir to coat.
- Assemble and bake: Carefully spread the granola mixture over the pre-baked crust, pressing gently to flatten. Bake for 18–22 minutes until the top is golden and set.
- Cool and slice: Let cool completely in the pan. Use parchment to lift out, then slice into bars or squares. For cleaner cuts, chill in the fridge for 20 minutes before slicing.
These Honey Oat Granola Bars are chewy, satisfying, and filled with simple, real ingredients — perfect for lunchboxes, afternoon snacks, or slow mornings at home. We hope they bring a little extra goodness to your day.
